Volunteer teachers wanted in Kurdistan (Iraq)

Are you adventurous, are you looking for a challenge, can you motivate children, and most of all help to make a difference?

The Kurdistan Childrens Fund is looking for positive, enthusiastic, and energetic teachers (Maths, English, Physics Chemistry, Biology) for their Exemplary School in Sulaimaniya, Iraqi Kurdistan. Return flights from the UK, accommodation, and a monthly allowance will be provided.

Applications should have English as their first language and hold a British Passport; they must have teaching experience with the English Curriculum in a British School and have had experience with TEFL.

Kurdistan Childrens Fund is a British Registered Charity also registered in Iraq under the name of Kurdistan Save the Children, we have been operating in Kurdistan since 1991 and since 2003 in Baghdad and Kirkuk.

Volunteers to this beautiful safe region of Iraq will have the experience of a lifetime and will certainly make a difference to the children they will be teaching. Sulaimaniya is a very beautiful city surrounded by fantastic mountains. Although a modern city it still retains lots of traditional characteristics and customs.
