Singing and vocal lessons - weymouth

We offer singing lessons at all levels.
One to one singing lessons offer a much more supportive environment to explore and develop your voice.
Learning how to project the voice as well as learning about microphone techniques.

Working on a wide variety of repertoire and styles. Lessons are extremely relaxed and informal.

Singing lessons – The most important part of singing, is to use the right techniques this includes using pronunciation, expression and articulation of the song you are trying to sing.

Using CDs to learn to sing with is fine, but the downside is there is no coach there to give you personal encouragement and support in correcting you.
Also there are some singers who try to push themselves too far and end up straining their voice.

How Lessons work
Your first lesson is mainly to find out what you can and can’t do - so we can find out where you need to start.
Lessons are structured and formed in sections:

First we will always begin with a warm-up.
Which are followed by scales and exercises.
Then practical songs - which you can choose if you wish.
Then a cool down.

Since people have different learning styles we vary the lessons   so some weeks you will have handouts and pictures,   others will be practical exercises .
